Dear Conference Attendees,

My name is Dr. Patrick Blessinger, and I am the president and chief scientist of the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association (HETL). Together with my dear colleague, Mr. Tunahan Cosjun, General Manager of TUZDER, I would like to invite you to attend our 2022 international conference to be held in Istanbul – Turkey’s economic, cultural, and historic hub.

Our conference theme on innovations in basic and higher education will give educators a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the latest innovations and cutting-edge research in basic and higher education as well as share best practices in teaching and learning, leadership and administration, and research partnerships. For attendees, the conference will consist of exceptional speakers and programs which will allow you to stay abreast of the latest developments in basic and higher education. For presenters, the conference will allow you to share your research to an international audience of educators.

This conference will provide you an opportunity to experience the remarkable city of Istanbul, to enjoy the company of educators from around the world, and to explore mutually beneficial connections. For those bringing their families with them, Istanbul is an exceptionally beautiful city that provides visitors with many opportunities to experience unique food, geography, architecture, and culture. As we slowly emerge from the pandemic, educators are eager to travel and reconnect with their colleagues from around the world.

Historically, because of Istanbul’s central location between Europe and Asia, it served as one of the central stops along the Silk Road, making it one of the most important cities in human history. As such, we believe that the historic city of Istanbul will serve as a wonderful venue for the conference.

We look forward to seeing you in Istanbul next September.

Dr. Patrick Blessinger
